Stethoscope
Our open source stethoscope is research-validated to operate as well as a Littmann Cardiology III, but can be produced using 3D printed parts for a fraction of the price.
Otoscope
Healthy hearing is an important factor in learning and living, and the otoscope is a tool used in the provision of hearing healthcare.
Tourniquet
Our tourniquet functions better than expensive devices, but can be produced using 3D printed parts for a fraction of the price.
Kidney-CAP
Hemodialysis patients with a fistula may experience bleeding at the fistula site. Our Kidney-CAP helps patients avoid a medical emergency by “capping” the bleeding giving the patient time to call medical response services.

Dialysis
This device helps to remove excess water, solutes and toxins from the blood of patients with kidney problems. The Glia team will begin research on this device in 2019.
Pulse Oximeter
This device allows for the non-invasive measurement of an individual’s oxygen saturation. The open source pulse oximeter is about to begin clinical trials.
Electrocardiogram
This device records the electrical activity of the heart. The first prototype of our open source electrocardiogram (ECG) is near completion.
Aerosol-Reducing NIV Mask
Our Aerosol-Reducing Non-Invasive Ventilation Mask uses off-the-shelf and 3D printed components to minimize risk of virus exposure, such as COVID-19, to healthcare workers in hospital settings.
