All funds raised support Glia’s work. Join us to learn more about this Canadian organization and its approach to rewriting the script on global humanitarian aid through local capacity, solidarity and collective care.
The evening will feature a screening of the short film SUMUD: A Doctor’s Report on Genocide and Survival in Gaza, followed by a conversation about what collective care can look like in our own communities.

Why This Event Matters
Every day in Gaza, children and adults are living with severe burns, blast injuries, infected surgical wounds, and chronic ulcers. Many face delayed treatment because hospitals are overwhelmed, essential medical supplies remain scarce, and safe transportation is limited.
Glia's Complex Wound Care Program is changing that reality.
Built alongside Palestinian healthcare professionals, the program provides specialized wound assessment, advanced treatment, rehabilitation, nutrition support, and follow-up care for patients with some of the most challenging injuries. What began as a small clinic has rapidly grown into a trusted service treating hundreds of patients each month, while training local healthcare workers and expanding access through community-based care.
Your attendance helps sustain this work by providing the equipment, medical supplies, and operational support needed to keep the clinic running and extend care to patients who would otherwise go without.
