Volunteer Opportunity: Showcase Glia's Impact

Impact Report Volunteer

Glia is looking for volunteer storytellers, writers, and designers to help showcase the impact of our humanitarian work through engaging reports and visual summaries.

Working alongside our marketing and development teams, you'll help transform project updates, campaign results, and organizational milestones into clear, compelling reports that communicate Glia's impact to donors, partners, volunteers, and the broader community. From annual impact reports and campaign summaries to one-page infographics and presentation decks, your work will help demonstrate how collective action creates meaningful change.

We're looking for multiple volunteers with a variety of skills and interests. Whether your strengths are writing, interviewing, editing, graphic design, data visualization, or document layout, we'd love to have you on the team.

How You Can Contribute

• Develop annual impact reports, campaign summaries, and other impact-focused publications.
• Interview staff, volunteers, and partners to gather stories, project highlights, and key achievements.
• Organize information into clear, engaging narratives that resonate with diverse audiences.
• Design visually appealing reports, presentations, infographics, and other communication materials.
• Collaborate with Glia teams to ensure content is accurate, accessible, and aligned with our brand.
• Help communicate the measurable impact of donor and community support.

Skills That Are Helpful

You don't need experience in every area—we welcome volunteers with different strengths who are excited to contribute as part of a collaborative team.

Helpful skills and qualities include:

• Strong writing, editing, or storytelling abilities.
• Experience with graphic design, document layout, or presentation design.
• Familiarity with tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Slides, or similar platforms.
• The ability to organize complex information into clear and engaging content.
• Strong attention to detail and an appreciation for accurate, ethical storytelling.
• A passion for humanitarian work and communicating meaningful impact.
