Volunteer Opportunity: Glia Ambassador for Gaza Medical Support Initiative!

We are looking for passionate volunteers to join us as a Glia Ambassador, championing custom micro-campaigns that we set up for you on our LaunchGood Gaza Medical Support Initiative page.

Background:

  • Since January 2024, Glia has partnered with the World Health Organization (WHO) to send medical delegations into Gaza, providing vital healthcare support to hospitals and communities.
  • Our field clinic in Zuwaida, established in February 2024, cares for over 600 patients each week, offering free primary healthcare and crucial services amid challenging conditions.

What You Can Do:

  • Spread the Word Online: Drive engagement through social media. We will provide you with the shareables, such as graphics, short videos, images.
  • Host Events: Organize a local bake sale, a community meetup, a small gathering, or a live online event.
  • Get Creative: Combine multiple approaches—social media promotions, in-person events, and word-of-mouth advocacy— to meet your micro-campaign goal.

Your work as a Glia Ambassador will help sustain our field clinic operations, WHO-partnered medical delegations, ensure uninterrupted delivery of essential medications and supplies, and expand services like sexual and reproductive healthcare, children’s mental health support, chronic non-communicable disease care, and vaccination.

We invite you to bring your compassionate self-initiative and like-hearted community circles. Join us and use your voice to make a meaningful impact in bridging healthcare access to the most vulnerable communities in Gaza!
